About the role

The Clinical Operations Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for a global CRO partner. This senior position drives commercial growth, ensures high‑quality trial delivery, and maintains strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Operations across all regions, guaranteeing quality, compliance, and consistency.
• Oversee clinical project delivery in line with ICH‑GCP, regulatory requirements, SOPs, and client expectations.
• Monitor and improve monitoring practices, conduct gap analyses, and implement CAPAs.
• Manage resource planning, allocation, and compliance with the Quality Management System.
• Lead proposal development, bid defense, and represent Clinical Operations in client engagements.
• Build and maintain client and partner relationships, ensuring satisfaction and issue resolution.
• Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement; mentor and develop team members.
• Contribute to company strategy, marketing materials, and represent the organization in internal and external forums.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business or related field.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in clinical research, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP, regulatory requirements and clinical trial processes.
• Proven experience in both Clinical Operations and Business Development.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client management abilities.
