About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead the implementation of HR policies, programs, and administration for Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems Tunisia, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives and supporting its growth in the automotive wiring harness sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of HR policies, programs, and administrative processes.
• Develop and monitor the annual HR budget and key performance indicators.
• Design and execute staffing strategies for direct labor, indirect labor, staff, and management positions.
• Create and manage training and development initiatives, including onboarding, operational training, and management development.
• Plan, develop, and administer HR programs that support strategic goals.
• Lead performance management system improvements.
• Develop compensation strategies and salary structures.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and labor laws.
• Direct organizational planning, job design, workforce planning, and staffing optimization.
• Lead succession planning, workforce development, change management, and employee retention initiatives.
• Formulate HR policies that promote positive employee relations and engagement.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and HR expertise to executives, managers, and employees.
• Strengthen internal communication processes.
• Promote employee engagement through social and welfare activities.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources.
• Proven experience in an HR leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
