Data Engineer – Azure Integration Specialist

About the role

The Data Engineering team at Mantu is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and operate data flows between Mantu and its SaaS partners. You will own end‑to‑end pipelines, from partner APIs to the Azure data lake and back.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and PySpark notebooks.
• Implement REST API connectors (OAuth2, pagination, error handling), SFTP and file exchanges (CSV, JSON, XML) for partner systems.
• Monitor pipelines, resolve incidents, and communicate status to business and partner teams.
• Support reporting teams on data quality, availability and documentation.
• Deploy changes via Azure DevOps (Git, CI/CD) and ensure reusable, parameterized solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data integration or data engineering on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong background in building and operating integration pipelines and data lakes.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and work with external vendors.

• Experience with iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi
