Customer Support Associate - Finance & Banking Regulatory Reporting (PFE)

About the role

Regnology, a global leader in regulatory reporting for financial institutions, regulators and tax authorities, is offering an end-of-studies internship (PFE) in its Customer Support team within the Regulatory Reporting organization. The internship sits at the intersection of finance, banking regulations and technology, and gives students practical exposure to banking regulatory reporting, financial and risk data analysis and the regulatory frameworks financial institutions must follow.

Key responsibilities

• Explore banking regulatory reporting processes and how institutions prepare and submit reports to supervisory authorities.
• Develop an understanding of key banking regulations and prudential reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial and risk-related data to understand regulatory reporting outcomes.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and identify their causes.
• Support the analysis and resolution of issues related to regulatory reporting solutions.
• Take part in reporting analysis and testing activities based on real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with experienced team members to understand functional and regulatory requirements.
• Discover how financial technology supports data quality, reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Solid interest in financial concepts, banking activities and regulatory reporting.
• Previous internship experience, university projects or relevant extracurricular activities are a plus, but not required.

Required skills

• Comfortable using Excel and eager to learn new tools; no specific technical tools or programming languages required.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively.
• Proactive, adaptable to a fast-paced international environment.
