Creative Strategist – Direct Response Video Ads

About the role

We are seeking a performance‑driven Creative Strategist to design, script and optimise high‑converting video ads for DTC/eCommerce brands on Meta and TikTok. The role blends consumer psychology, hook creation and direct‑response storytelling to deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scroll‑stopping video ad concepts for DTC/eCommerce brands.
• Write high‑converting scripts tailored for paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels).
• Create multiple hook variations and test angles to improve CTR and CPA.
• Collaborate with editors, media buyers and founders to refine creative assets.
• Analyze performance data and iterate creatives based on conversion metrics.
• Stay ahead of trends in UGC‑style ads, TikTok formats and direct‑response frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Creative Strategist, Direct Response Copywriter or Ad Scriptwriter.
• Strong understanding of paid social advertising on Meta and TikTok.
• Deep knowledge of direct‑response marketing principles (hooks, angles, offers, urgency).
• Experience writing for UGC‑style video ads and short‑form content.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to link creative decisions to performance metrics.
