Configuration & IDE Tools Validation Internship (2026)

About the role

Join STMicroelectronics' 2026 Apprenticeship Program as a Configuration & IDE Tools Validation Intern. You will work within the software validation team, focusing on STM32 microcontroller configuration and IDE tool validation, collaborating with development and design engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Study new features and draft test specifications together with development teams.
• Prepare validation test plans aligned with specification documents.
• Execute validation tests for each delivery and generate detailed reports.
• Communicate issues to stakeholders and support investigation activities.
• Design and develop automated tests and integrate them into the automatic testing platform.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Software Engineering, including object‑oriented programming and scripting.
• Experience with embedded software development and understanding of the design life‑cycle.
• Familiarity with STM32 microcontroller architecture and ecosystem.
• Good written and spoken French and English.
• Independent, punctual, organized and able to work in a team.
