Communard – Hotel Kitchen Staff

About the role

We are looking for a Communard to join the kitchen team of an Accor hotel. The role focuses on preparing and serving meals for hotel staff while ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality. You will work closely with the executive chef and contribute to a responsible hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily staff meals, including cooking, plating and service.
• Coordinate with the executive chef to plan the daily menu.
• Retrieve and update stock of food items, ensuring accurate inventory.
• Package, label and store leftovers according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain compliance with hotel standards and HACCP food safety regulations.

Required profile

• CAP Cuisine qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a cook in a 5‑star hotel or international gastronomy.
• Fluent in written and spoken French.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with Opera or a similar hotel management system is an asset.

Required skills

• CAP Cuisine certification.
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
• Familiarity with the Opera hotel management system.
