Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect to join its cloud delivery organisation. The role focuses on designing, integrating and delivering Ericsson’s cloud platforms (CNIS, NFVI, OMC) for telecom customers across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, define and design solution offerings, including integration of Ericsson and third‑party cloud solutions.
• Analyse customer environments, capture business requirements and conduct risk assessments.
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals and deliver customer workshops.
• Plan, implement and verify product configuration, migration, system and acceptance testing.
• Support solution deployment, post‑project activities and knowledge transfer.
• Provide feedback to R&D and drive continuous improvement of delivery processes.
• Occasionally assist pre‑sales activities such as feasibility studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or IT (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 7 years of service‑delivery experience in the telecom industry.
• At least 5 years of cloud deployment experience, including 2 years as a Solution Architect.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and requirement‑gathering abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel up to 30 %.
