Business Development Representative

About the role

As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for generating qualified meetings with senior decision‑makers at Canadian companies, including CIOs, executives and IT leaders. You will own the full outbound prospecting cycle – from researching targets, qualifying leads, to booking appointments – before handing them over to the demo and closing team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential enterprise customers in the Canadian market.
• Conduct outbound outreach via phone and email to generate interest.
• Qualify prospects based on fit and readiness to engage.
• Schedule and confirm meetings for the sales team with senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outbound B2B prospecting, preferably in SaaS or business services.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable making cold calls and resilient to rejection.
• Highly autonomous, rigorous and motivated to help build a startup from the ground up.
