Brand Safety & IP Specialist / IP Lawyer (Bilingual FR/EN)

About the role

LXD is seeking a Brand Safety & IP Specialist / IP Lawyer with deep expertise in intellectual property, copyright, content licensing, and digital media. You will collaborate with editorial, production, and management teams to evaluate legal risks, ensure platform compliance, protect content, and deliver practical legal guidance in a fast‑paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate content licensing, user‑generated content, and commercial agreements.
• Assess copyright, brand‑safety, reputational, and monetisation risks.
• Monitor and apply policies across Meta, YouTube, and Snapchat.
• Conduct legal research and produce clear legal memoranda.
• Handle copyright claims, strikes, disputes, and platform appeals.
• Provide practical legal guidance to non‑legal teams.
• Review agreements with a rapid turnaround of 2–3 days.

Required profile

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Law (specialisation in IP, media law, copyright, AI, or business law preferred).
• Professional fluency in English; French required or strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in IP/copyright law within a law firm or corporate setting.
• Experience in digital media, content production, or brand safety is a strong plus.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage high‑volume workflows.
• Bar qualification and/or PhD are advantageous.
