Boiler Room Technician – Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Boiler Room Technician to join its engineering team in Tunis. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of boiler and related mechanical systems that support hotel facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, piping and control equipment.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, water levels, fuel consumption and overall system performance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to schedule and record all activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions; execute minor repairs and coordinate major repairs with contractors.
• Maintain water‑treatment systems to guarantee optimal boiler performance.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and operational abnormalities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Keep the boiler room clean, organized and free of hazards.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in boiler or mechanical system maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid Boiler Operator or Boiler Technician certification.
