Apprenticeship – STM32 Evaluation Tool Maintenance Intern

About the role

Join STMicroelectronics as an apprentice and support the long‑term reliability of STM32 MCU and MPU evaluation tools. You will work on component obsolescence, hardware revisions, and documentation to ensure the tools stay available for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor obsolescence alerts for electronic components and propose suitable replacements.
• Redesign promotion boards, ensuring compliance with design standards.
• Generate and update manufacturing files and production test packages for hardware revisions.
• Revise and publish technical documentation on internal and external platforms.
• Coordinate project milestones from kickoff to product release.
• Develop scripts to improve processes and automate tasks.

Required profile

• Interest in electronics, hardware lifecycle management, and semiconductor products.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with STM32 MCUs.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer.
• Embedded C programming.
• Python scripting.
• VBA for Excel automation.
• Version control using Subversion (TortoiseSVN).
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Basic project‑management concepts.
• Fundamental electronics knowledge.
