Analyst II – Six Sigma – Automotive Quality

About the role

Visteon's Six Sigma and Warranty Management team is looking for a mid‑level Analyst II to drive product quality and operational efficiency in the automotive sector. The role applies advanced Six Sigma techniques to warranty data, uncover root causes of defects and deliver corrective actions that lower costs and boost customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing warranty costs and improving product reliability.
• Analyze warranty and quality data using statistical tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain process maps, control plans and FMEA documentation to mitigate manufacturing and design risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate DMAIC workshops and training to build Six Sigma capabilities across the organization.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to warranty claims, defect rates and process improvements to senior management.
• Utilize statistical software and data‑visualisation tools to present findings and recommendations.
• Support supplier quality initiatives by analysing supplier‑related warranty data.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and Visteon’s quality management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics or a related technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher with proven experience in automotive quality and warranty analysis.
• Demonstrated success leading Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
