AI Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions across a variety of use cases. You will work on the full AI project lifecycle, from data exploration to model deployment, in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the entire AI project lifecycle: data exploration, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Develop machine‑learning models using modern frameworks and contribute to feature extraction, optimization, and validation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into robust AI solutions.
• Implement AI solutions on cloud, on‑premise, or edge environments and contribute to PoCs and reusable assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related fields.
• Practical experience applying machine‑learning techniques to real‑world problems.
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and communicating in English and French.
• Curious, analytical, and motivated to grow in an AI‑focused technical environment.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Data manipulation using NumPy and Pandas.
• Model preprocessing, validation, and performance tuning.
• Basic knowledge of deploying models as APIs, micro‑services, or edge runtimes.
