Team Leader – Material Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Team Leader for Material Management to oversee and optimise material flows within an industrial environment. The role involves leading a team, collaborating with international stakeholders, and ensuring efficient use of SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a material management team, fostering cross‑functional collaboration.
• Manage material planning, inventory control, and logistics processes using SAP MM, PP, and WM modules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, conduct occasional travel for training, supplier visits, and cross‑site meetings.
• Analyse data to identify improvement opportunities and resolve material‑related issues.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders across multicultural environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, reliable and self‑driven working style.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
