Specialist Scrap Control

About the role

The Specialist Scrap Control ensures that scrap generated in production is efficiently collected, weighed, recorded and prepared for recycling or sale. You will work closely with production teams, the central warehouse and the recycling unit to maintain accurate scrap data and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the consolidation of scrap from all production areas into a centralized warehouse, including physical weighing.
• Record all collected scrap in the ERP system and ensure data accuracy.
• Manage the copper recycling process, guaranteeing proper sorting before loading into recycling equipment.
• Archive relevant documents and obtain all required signatures.
• Prepare and distribute regular scrap reports across the organization.
• Conduct gap analyses and monitor corrective actions from responsible departments.
• Support the scrap selling process by providing detailed reconciliation data.
• Assist internal audits related to scrap management.

Required profile

• University degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication, teamwork and change‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for scrap tracking.
