Specialist Maintenance Technician

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Specialist Maintenance Technician to ensure the technical availability of production and facility equipment. You will work under general direction to follow maintenance schedules, prevent unplanned downtime, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Track and execute the maintenance schedule for production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive and unplanned maintenance, supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
• Create and optimise spare‑part lists, manage stock levels and evaluate repair reports.
• Monitor adherence to maintenance plans and take corrective actions when needed.
• Install, move, and re‑qualify equipment and tools.
• Maintain utilities (cooling, heating, electricity, water, compressed air, steam, lighting) and safety systems (firefighting, fire prevention, security cameras).
• Ensure machine and system software functionality and coordinate debugging with IT when required.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to minimise downtime and spare‑part costs.

Required profile

• Minimum education: BTS in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, pneumatics and automation.
• Analytical mindset, thoroughness and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Team player with initiative and a proactive attitude.
