Senior Firewall Engineer with Python

About the role

CodiLime is seeking a Senior Firewall Engineer to lead firewall configuration migration projects for US‑based customers. You will work within a multi‑vendor environment, combining network security expertise with Python automation to deliver production‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert and migrate firewall configurations into the customer’s security platform.
• Analyse customer network environments and design migration workflows for each use case.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure successful deployment in production.
• Work closely with the development team to enhance the automation framework.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Strong customer‑facing background with proven communication skills.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Willingness to work flexible hours to align with US customers.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Check Point firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting).
• Python scripting for automation.
• Linux operating system proficiency.
• Network security and platform knowledge.
