Sales Development Representative

About the role

Web Hosting Canada is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to turn inbound leads into lasting client relationships. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, engaging new prospects and supporting existing customers across phone, chat and email channels.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls, chats, tickets and leads, converting them into new customers.
• Identify client needs and propose the most suitable hosting, domain and email solutions.
• Communicate technical hosting concepts in clear, non‑technical language.
• Develop onboarding strategies tailored to each client’s requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with entrepreneurs and medium‑size businesses and facilitate payments.
• Coordinate with Account Executives for premium accounts and ensure smooth hand‑overs.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction to encourage retention and upsell opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and WHC product enhancements.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the business market, preferably in technology.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical mindset and resourcefulness.
• Fast and accurate typing with the ability to write clear copy.
• Experience in account management or customer success is a plus.

Required skills

• Website creation or maintenance experience.
