Research & Development (R&D) Manager – E‑commerce Brands

About the role

We are seeking a highly creative, analytical, and proactive R&D Manager to lead product research for multiple e‑commerce brands operating in Tunisia. You will be responsible for discovering winning products, launching rapid market tests, and collaborating with marketing and COD teams to turn ideas into scalable successes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily product research across Meta Ads, TikTok, Facebook Shops, Amazon, Shopify, AliExpress, Temu and other platforms to identify high‑potential items.
• Generate detailed research reports including product links, supplier information, selling angles, competitor examples, cost estimates, margins and market saturation.
• Launch 2‑4 product tests each week, define target audiences, offers, pricing, and track performance metrics (CTR, CPM, CPA, conversion rate, COD confirmation rate).
• Analyze Tunisian consumer pain points, comments, reviews and feedback to build local personas and uncover objections, desires and emotional triggers.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop video concepts, hooks, UGC scenarios, sales scripts and landing‑page messaging.
• Work with the COD team to refine product positioning and improve confirmation rates based on daily customer conversations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in e‑commerce product research.
• Strong understanding of Meta Ads and TikTok advertising.
• Creative thinking combined with an analytical mindset and ability to spot trends quickly.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
• Organized, autonomous and able to work fast in a dynamic environment.
