QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our software engineering team in Tunis. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of our web and API‑based applications through comprehensive functional, regression and integration testing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional and technical specifications to design test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression and UI tests on both front‑end and back‑end components.
• Validate RESTful APIs using Postman and verify data integrity with SQL queries on PostgreSQL databases.
• Identify, document and track defects in Jira/Xray and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Maintain test environments and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
