QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our software engineering team in Tunis. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through comprehensive functional, regression, and API testing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements to design test plans.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Perform frontend, backend, and database validation using SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Test REST APIs with Postman and document defects in Jira/Xray.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Scrum teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Validate application environments before releases and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance, preferably in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning new tools and technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively and mentor junior team members.
