Manual QA Tester

About the role

We are expanding our QA capacity at Block Labs and are looking for a Manual QA Tester to join our quality team. The role involves working closely with QA Leads and development squads to execute test plans, run regression suites, and ensure our gaming platform and crypto payment products meet high quality standards before production. This is a hands‑on manual testing position with clear growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile platforms, covering functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Run structured regression suites before production releases, log defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure resolved issues do not introduce new regressions.
• Collaborate with QA Leads and developers to clarify requirements, flag ambiguities, and align test coverage with acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and update test case documentation as features evolve.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, provide testing status updates and raise blockers early.
• Support exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues beyond scripted plans.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in gaming, fintech or payments.
• Comfortable testing across web and mobile platforms and adapting quickly to new product areas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Ability to write clear, structured bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence.
• Basic familiarity with developer tools and API testing.
