Facilities IT Engineer

About the role

Linedata is looking for a Facilities IT Engineer to join its IT team. The role provides first‑ and second‑level technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and acting as the local liaison with the global IT organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support on‑site and remotely, diagnosing hardware, software, network and access incidents.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows workstations, laptops and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and manage user accounts in Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Escalate complex issues to global or external support teams and document all tickets.
• Assist users with day‑to‑day IT questions, onboarding/offboarding, and promote best practices for security.
• Coordinate local IT activities with central/global teams, including basic LAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN troubleshooting.
• Maintain local IT inventory, order equipment, and keep documentation up to date.

• Self‑starter attitude and proactive problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Windows OS workstation support.
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Active Directory and Azure AD user/group management.
• Basic networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/Wi‑Fi.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools.
• Understanding of ITIL principles (optional).
