Data Operations Specialist – Production & Monitoring

About the role

The Data Operations Specialist will join the Data Management Team to operate, monitor and optimise large‑scale data production pipelines that feed intellectual‑property data into the company’s products. The role ensures timely, accurate delivery of data streams while handling high‑volume workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control more than 350 scheduled processes daily using the OpCon orchestration tool.
• Develop, maintain and optimise Bash and Python scripts that integrate Java code and ETL jobs.
• Diagnose production incidents, perform corrective maintenance and conduct root‑cause investigations.
• Communicate operational constraints to development teams and coordinate with clients and suppliers via email.
• Export data in specific formats (e.g., ST36, ST86) and adhere strictly to delivery schedules.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to provide production support outside regular hours, including weekends.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in system administration or data operations.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and MySQL databases.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting; Python scripting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control (Git).
• Professional working proficiency in technical English.
