Computer Vision Annotator – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Annotator to join our remote team. The role involves creating high-quality labeled datasets that power computer-vision and machine-learning models across tasks such as object detection, segmentation and 3-D perception.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate images and videos with bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, key points, 3-D cuboids and segmentation masks using tools such as CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer or SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Label point-cloud and LiDAR data for autonomous-vehicle and robotics applications.
• Interpret detailed labeling taxonomies, resolve ambiguous cases and collaborate with data scientists to refine guidelines.
• Provide feedback on tool usability and suggest workflow improvements.
• Identify edge cases, potential biases and report findings to improve model robustness.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks like resizing images or synchronising timestamps.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in visual data annotation or quality assurance for computer-vision projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent high-quality output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with annotation platforms: CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, Supervisely, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Familiarity with computer-vision concepts such as object detection, image classification, segmentation, LiDAR and point-cloud processing.
