UI/UX Designer - Fintech

About the role

Axe Finance, a global fintech founded in 2004 and active in 32 countries, is hiring a UI/UX Designer for its Product Strategy & Innovation team in Tunis. You will design secure, intuitive and user-centred digital experiences for the Axe Credit Portal (ACP), a web and mobile lending platform, working closely with senior designers, product managers and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of web and mobile user experiences, from research and concept through delivery and iteration.
• Turn user research, business requirements and technical constraints into usable, accessible designs.
• Create and maintain user flows, wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Help evolve and apply design systems, UI standards and guidelines consistently.
• Integrate secure-by-design and compliance-aware principles in regulated environments.
• Take part in usability evaluations and feedback cycles, and contribute to design reviews and ideation sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in digital design or a related field.
• 3-4 years of product or UI/UX design experience; fintech experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of design systems, style guides and UI standards.
• Familiarity with responsive web design and iOS and Android mobile patterns.
• Proficiency in English and French, written and spoken; Arabic is preferred.

Required skills

• Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) or equivalent tools.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles.
• Organised, able to manage several projects and deadlines, and works well in cross-functional teams.
