Technical Sales Representative – Inside Sales (EMEA Energy)

About the role

The Technical Sales Representative (Inside Sales) will create accurate price offers, respond to customer enquiries and provide technical guidance for trapped‑key interlock solutions across the EMEA energy sector. The role supports the field sales team and ensures timely, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure accurate quotations using internal ERP/CRM tools, meeting agreed response times.
• Maintain and update open quotes, follow up on outstanding offers and generate sales reports.
• Respond to inbound phone and email enquiries, provide basic technical product information and order status.
• Support Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers with costings, tender documentation and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and logistics to ensure smooth order processing.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac+3 education with at least 3 years of experience in a similar technical sales role.
• Strong knowledge of the energy sector and OEM products, preferably in switchgear or electrical distribution.
• Fluent in French and English; additional language is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to discuss customer needs and technical solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Solution‑based selling and technical consultancy experience.
• Ability to interpret network and circuit diagrams.
• Understanding of safety requirements for industrial and safety‑critical environments.
