About the role

Join STMicroelectronics' software validation team for a summer internship in 2026, focusing on AI‑driven generation of STM32CubeProgrammer test strategy and report documents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage validation documents such as Product Test Specification (PTS), Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Validation Test Report.
• Understand and support the consolidation of validation status.
• Design and develop automated tests using AI technologies.
• Integrate automated tests into the Automatic Platform.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Software or Electronics Engineering.
• Good understanding of embedded software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of STM32 microcontroller architecture and ecosystem.
• Familiarity with communication, analog and system peripherals and protocols (I2C, UART, USB, SPI, CAN, JTAG, SWD).
• Solid programming and scripting experience for automation.
• Experience with software configuration management, code review and defect tracking tools.
• Strong documentation, writing and reporting skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and collaborate in a team.
