About the role
We are looking for a Stress Engineer to join the CAE department of MICLA Engineering & Design. The role focuses on structural analysis of aerostructures for civil aviation programs, supporting both new projects and existing aircraft.
Key responsibilities
- Support new aerostructure projects from concept to delivery.
- Perform stress, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses on aluminium alloy structures.
- Manage non‑conformities and corrective actions in ongoing civil aerostructure programs.
- Collaborate with design teams using CAD and CAE tools.
- Provide technical reports and synthesis for internal and client reviews.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and synthesis abilities.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
- English proficiency at least B2 level.
Required skills
- Structural analysis of non‑conformities for civil aerostructure programs (ATR experience preferred).
- Static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis methods for aeronautical aluminium alloys.
- Knowledge of Leonardo Civil and ATR program analysis methods and allowables.
- Proficiency with Catia V5, NASGRO, Nastran and Patran.
