Statistics Lecturer/Tutor (Transnational Education Programme)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Statistics Lecturer/Tutor to join a transnational education programme. The successful candidate will work closely with the course lecturer to deliver high‑quality tutorial sessions and support students throughout their learning journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tutorial classes covering statistics and related quantitative methods.
• Coordinate with the course lecturer to ensure alignment with academic standards.
• Provide guidance and support for assessments and exam preparation.
• Assist diverse student cohorts in understanding complex statistical concepts.

Required profile

• PhD in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 2 years proven teaching experience in higher education.
• Strong command of core statistical topics.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to students with varied backgrounds.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one statistical/software tool such as R, Python, or SPSS.
