About the role
Opella is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Head to lead the site’s end‑to‑end supply chain operations. You will be part of the Site Leadership Team, ensuring demand and supply planning, production scheduling, procurement, inventory and logistics align with business growth and customer service goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Define and execute the site’s Supply Chain strategy in line with Opella standards.
- Develop and manage the Master Production Plan based on forecasts, inventory levels and capacity.
- Optimize production planning and scheduling to minimise deviations.
- Ensure raw material and packaging availability while optimising inventory and working capital.
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors and logistics to guarantee continuity and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve performance metrics such as customer service, inventory turns and supply availability.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and drive continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
Required profile
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
- Proven analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
- Fluent in English and French.
