Short Form Content Copywriter

About the role

The Viral Lab is seeking a Short Form Content Copywriter to create concise, engaging copy for short‑form video assets across social platforms. Working on‑site in Ennasr 2, you will collaborate with producers, editors and marketers to turn ideas into viral‑ready scripts, hooks, captions and on‑screen text.

Key responsibilities

• Brainstorm and develop concepts with the creative team for short‑form video formats.
• Write clear, compelling hooks, captions, scripts and on‑screen text tailored to each platform.
• Adapt messaging to different audiences while maintaining brand voice and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate closely with producers, editors and marketers to refine ideas and test copy variations.
• Proofread and revise copy for grammar, tone and consistency.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends and contribute to creative sessions aimed at viral performance.

Required profile

• Strong writing and short‑form content skills with the ability to produce persuasive copy for digital and social media formats.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with creative, production and marketing teams.
• Experience drafting press releases or similar promotional materials is a plus.
• High attention to detail in proofreading, grammar, tone and consistency.
• Foundational marketing understanding, especially of social media and audience engagement.
• Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or similar platforms.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Ennasr 2, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
