Senior Presales Engineer

About the role

Senior Presales Engineer supports the team by providing technical expertise, solution design, product demonstrations, and customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle. The role acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring proposed solutions align with customer requirements and organizational capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer business and technical requirements and design suitable solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, statements of work, and conduct product demonstrations, proofs‑of‑concept and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops and discovery sessions, explaining technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Create high‑level and low‑level solution designs, architecture diagrams, implementation approaches and integration workflows.
• Coordinate with engineering, delivery, product and support teams to ensure smooth transition to delivery and continuous improvement of presales assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑6 years experience in presales, solution engineering, systems engineering or technical consulting.
• Proven experience preparing technical proposals and responding to RFPs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions, cloud technologies, integrations and software architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• APIs, integrations, databases and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure, data and AI solutions.
• Diagramming and documentation tools such as Visio and Draw.io.
