Senior Hydraulic Engineer – Urban Water Systems

About the role

RINA is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join its Water Department in Tunisia. You will lead urban hydraulic studies, design water supply, sanitation and drainage infrastructure, and support tender preparation for large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hydraulic studies for drinking water supply, sanitation and rainwater drainage in urban environments.
• Produce detailed technical designs of hydraulic structures and review plan approvals.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents, including technical specifications and financial estimates.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a hydraulic specialization.
• Registered with the Order of Tunisian Engineers.
• Minimum five years of experience in urban hydraulic studies.
• Proven ability to write technical reports in French and work in English.

Required skills

• Hydraulic modeling software: SWMM, EPANET, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS.
• Design tools: AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• GIS applications (preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite.
