Senior Expert Process Engineering

About the role

The Senior Expert Process Engineering will lead conceptual studies and drive facility optimisation for OMV upstream assets, collaborating closely with subsurface, drilling and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conceptual engineering studies, define and assess facility options with Subsurface and Operations.
• Identify debottlenecking opportunities and manage action plans from engineering through execution.
• Perform engineering checks, calculations and technical assessments to support plant optimisation.
• Develop and review process engineering deliverables under the Technical Approval Framework, securing approvals.
• Provide process engineering input for concept studies, FEED and detailed engineering, and support tender preparation and technical evaluation.

Required profile

• Master degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with international exposure and 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Extensive experience across all project phases of greenfield and brownfield onshore oil and gas projects.
• Strong commitment to HSE performance, especially process safety and design integrity.

Required skills

• Process modelling and simulation.
• Integrity management and best practices in process safety.
• Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).
• Risk assessment and management, including Management of Change.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering, contractor and supplier teams.
