Senior AI Product Engineer

About the role

SteerFlow is building an AI‑native product management platform and needs a senior engineer to own the AI system from concept to production. You will shape architecture, define how agents reason, and make AI quality measurable while working directly with the founder and early users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship a 0‑to‑1 AI product, including UI, backend, and production deployment.
• Define agent reasoning, retrieval, semantic search, embeddings, and LLM workflow integrations.
• Create evaluation frameworks and observability to measure AI performance.
• Make major technical decisions on architecture, security, scalability, and third‑party model providers.
• Set engineering standards, mentor future hires, and drive technical direction.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience shipping production software, with recent work on agentic or LLM‑powered products.
• Full‑stack expertise, comfortable with data modeling, system design, and UI delivery.
• Proven track record of shaping architecture and raising engineering quality.
• Strong product judgement and clear written communication.
