Security Guard

About the role

The Security Guard ensures a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company property at Sika AG's site in Ksar‑Said. You will monitor premises, control access, and respond to incidents while enforcing security procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent intrusion, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access‑control systems.
• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles, verify identification and issue visitor passes.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms; write clear incident and daily activity reports.
• Assist in emergency situations such as fire, medical incidents, or evacuations and provide directions to visitors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a security guard or in a related role (preferred).
• Ability to stay alert and calm under pressure with good observation and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.

Required skills

• Knowledge of surveillance camera systems.
• Familiarity with alarm and access‑control systems.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and monitoring.
