Sales Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

Sika is seeking a Sales Engineer – Infrastructure to lead its sales team in delivering innovative bonding, sealing and reinforcement solutions to the construction and automotive sectors. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand market share and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Own the company’s sales targets, set measurable objectives for the team and regularly review performance.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to adapt strategies.
• Manage the sales pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with targets.
• Track, analyse and report on team metrics such as lead conversion rates and average deal size.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or at least five years of higher education in civil engineering, materials science, process engineering or industrial chemistry.
• Strong commercial skills including analysis of customer needs, B2B negotiation and portfolio management.
• Ability to translate site requirements into technical concrete solutions and draft technical and commercial proposals.
• Experience in site monitoring and technical after‑sales service.
