Room Service Order Taker

About the role

Take guest in‑room dining orders, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and coordinate delivery of orders according to Four Seasons standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls courteously, obtain all information needed to process guest orders, and describe menu items with vivid detail.
• Enter guest orders, including special needs, into the hotel’s point‑of‑sales system and verify completed kitchen orders against the original request.
• Coordinate timely delivery of items to guest rooms with Room Service Servers, ensuring food quality and accurate billing.
• Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly to concerns.
• Manage amenity deliveries by receiving, filing, ordering, and delivering requests accurately.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of food‑service or related experience.

Required skills

• Professional telephone communication in English and French (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order‑taking.
• Proficiency with a point‑of‑sales (POS) system.
