Remote Interior Designer (Italy Project)

About the role

Nirvata Solutions is looking for an interior designer with about three years of relevant experience for a full-time, fully remote position supporting an architectural and interior design project in Italy. The role centres on 3D modelling, design development drawings and detailed shop drawings, turning design proposals into coordinated models and accurate technical documentation ready for review, fabrication and construction. Candidates based in Tunisia are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed architectural and interior 3D models using Revit.
• Prepare design development drawings: plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and interior details.
• Produce shop drawings for joinery, built-in furniture, partitions, ceilings and other interior elements.
• Prepare construction details with dimensions, materials, fixing methods, junctions and finish transitions.
• Coordinate drawings and models with architectural, structural and MEP information, and check consistency with schedules and specifications.
• Incorporate review comments, answer technical queries and update drawings after approved changes.
• Maintain organised drawing files, revision records and submission packages.
• Collaborate remotely with architects, consultants, contractors and manufacturers and meet agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• About three years of experience, especially in 3D modelling and technical drawing.
• Experience producing design development, construction and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, interior construction methods, material interfaces and installation requirements.
• Ability to interpret design information and produce accurate, buildable details.
• English, Arabic and Italian at a professional working level, spoken and written.
