About the role
Join STMicroelectronics as a Quality Assurance Apprentice for 2026. You will work within the Software Development Tools Process & Quality Assurance team, supporting the design and implementation of quality methods and tools that underpin our semiconductor products.
Key responsibilities
- Apply Master Quality Methods and Tools principles, policies and strategy.
- Contribute to the deployment of quality methods and tools across projects.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance team processes.
- Produce and maintain documentation such as guidelines, templates, and procedures.
- Monitor the defined approach using key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress.
- Support team members with queries and tasks related to the quality approach.
Required profile
- Student pursuing a degree in Software Quality Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of software development processes and quality standards (e.g., ISO, cybersecurity, open‑source licensing).
- Familiarity with quality concepts such as KPIs and risk management.
- Knowledge of development methodologies like V‑Cycle, Waterfall and Agile.
- Hands‑on experience with software installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken, written, reading).
- Excellent documentation, writing and reporting abilities.
- Organized, punctual, independent and able to multitask.
- Team‑oriented with good interpersonal skills.
