QA Automation Engineer – Relocate to Portugal

About the role

Affinity is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join its Lisbon office and help deliver high‑quality software for clients across Europe. This position offers the chance to relocate to Portugal, work with modern test tools, and become part of a people‑first, fast‑growing technology consulting firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java.
• Write and execute test scripts with Selenium and Playwright.
• Implement Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) scenarios using Cucumber.
• Create and run custom SQL scripts against SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with development and product teams via Atlassian Confluence and JIRA.
• Define, document, and execute comprehensive test cases.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in test automation.
• Fluent in English and French (C1 level).
• Self‑motivated, autonomous, and client‑focused.
• Strong desire for continuous improvement and learning.
