About the role
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking a Programme Specialist to support its anti‑human trafficking and migrant smuggling programme in Tunisia. The role will contribute to programme development, coordination, reporting and stakeholder engagement, helping strengthen evidence‑based responses across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate communication and information‑sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in planning and delivering programme activities such as trainings, workshops and meetings.
- Track indicators, document lessons learned and support monitoring and evaluation.
- Prepare reports, newsletters, web stories and visibility materials in line with donor requirements.
- Support outreach activities, including social media content and publications.
- Organise missions, events and technical meetings, handling logistical arrangements.
- Draft meeting minutes, background notes and briefing materials.
- Provide translation support for relevant programme documents.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in law, criminal justice, public administration, international development or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in programme coordination, administration or project support.
- Strong interpersonal, drafting and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural, team‑based environments.
- Fluency in Arabic, English and French.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with digital communication tools.
