Production Supervisor – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

As a Production Supervisor you will be at the core of our manufacturing operations, leading teams to meet production targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will translate DRÄXLMAIER’s vision into daily actions, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance across the line.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and engage production teams to achieve defined goals.
• Align shift activities with production plans and communicate objectives clearly.
• Drive ownership, accountability, and problem‑solving on the shop floor.
• Lead daily operations, monitor KPIs, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Anticipate challenges, initiate escalations, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate structured team meetings with actionable follow‑ups.
• Oversee shift leaders to maintain consistent performance.
• Support successful product launches and technical change implementations.
• Optimize workforce planning based on real‑time production needs.
• Monitor quality indicators and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage internal and external complaints in partnership with Quality teams.
• Maintain transparent documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong digital and computer proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and results‑oriented.
• Natural leader with excellent communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools and computer applications.
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3 standards.
• Experience applying FMEA methodology.
• Familiarity with PLP (Process Layout Planning) techniques.
