Product Development Engineer

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive the creation and improvement of medical technology solutions. The role involves turning research insights into market‑ready products that enhance patient outcomes and support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and evaluate new product concepts, enhancements, and strategic extensions.
• Translate research discoveries into usable, marketable medical devices.
• Lead and monitor all phases of the product lifecycle from inception through market introduction.
• Assess new ideas for customer relevance, revenue potential and market‑share impact.
• Define product specifications and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales to ensure successful development.
• Apply engineering principles to resolve moderate‑scope technical challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product development or a similar engineering role.
• Ability to work on problems of moderate complexity with guidance on routine tasks.
• Strong analytical mindset and capacity to review multiple factors when making decisions.
