About the role
Lear Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to set up and continuously improve manufacturing processes in its plant. The role focuses on designing tooling, optimizing equipment, and ensuring robust process documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Define, install and release manufacturing processes, including PFMEA analysis.
- Lead engineering changes with minimal investment and aim for zero obsolescence.
- Update and maintain standard work instructions and plant layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Conduct method and time studies to maximize resource utilization.
- Manage receipt and control of patterns, CAD data, and machine software.
Required profile
- Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English.
Required skills
- PFMEA analysis.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- AutoCAD competency.
- Experience with APiS software for Process FMEA.
- Handling of CAD data and cutting die specifications.
