Private Arabic Teacher – IGCSE & A-Level (Cambridge)

About the role

AlGooru is seeking a qualified Arabic teacher to deliver full‑time, at‑home academic support for a small group of six students following the Cambridge IGCSE and A‑Level Arabic curriculum. The role involves reinforcing school lessons, assisting with homework, and preparing students for examinations while also providing occasional support in Sciences and Mathematics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with the IGCSE/A‑Level Arabic syllabus.
• Support students in Sciences and Mathematics when needed.
• Reinforce concepts taught at school, assist with assignments, and guide exam preparation.
• Develop students’ grammar, reading comprehension, essay writing, literature analysis, and speaking skills.
• Use past papers and exam strategies to prepare students for Cambridge examinations.
• Monitor progress, provide regular feedback to parents, and adapt teaching to individual needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE or A‑Level Arabic, with familiarity of assessment objectives and exam formats.
• Ability to work with school materials and align tutoring with the school curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic grammar, literature, and exam preparation.
• Experience in private tutoring or small‑group instruction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Arabic language instruction for IGCSE/A‑Level.
• Familiarity with Cambridge past papers and marking schemes.
• Capability to differentiate instruction for varied student levels.
