PLM Applications Administrator Apprentice

About the role

Join FORVIA's Global System Services & System Operations team as a PLM Applications Administrator Apprentice. You will support critical PLM and EIT applications, ensuring they run smoothly and meet service level expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead the industrialisation of PLM applications to achieve target service levels.
• Administer centrally installed applications, manage changes, and keep documentation up to date.
• Monitor application performance, stability, and reliability, producing business‑oriented reports.
• Act as technical lead for infrastructure and application projects, evaluating impact of changes on production systems.
• Support and monitor PLM, EIT, and other critical production systems, ensuring compliance with lifecycle and business continuity standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and structured change‑management aligned with FES standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Good communication skills in French and English, suitable for an international environment.
• Interest in automotive‑related IT services and willingness to learn on the job.

Required skills

• Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) administration and PowerShell scripting.
• Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE) service management, log analysis, Bash scripting.
• Apache Tomcat, SFTP/FTPS configuration.
• DevOps concepts, Kubernetes, Docker, Git.
• Microsoft SQL Server querying and Oracle basics.
• SSL/TLS, LDAP/SSO basics, firewall and DNS concepts.
• Python scripting for automation.
