Part-time Backend Engineer (Django & AWS) – Tunisia

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Backend Engineer to join Artikle’s AI-driven platform team in Tunis. The role is hybrid, combining remote work with on-site collaboration, and focuses on building and maintaining robust backend services using Django and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components and APIs with Django.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to ensure clean, reusable code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product owners to integrate features.
• Ensure system scalability, security, and reliability through best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in back-end web development and software engineering.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with front-end development to support integration.
• Mandatory experience with Django and AWS.
• Knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and debugging.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Tunis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
